Network 77

Welcome to Network 77, a pay tv station recently purchased by Programme 4 parent company Allied Television Incorporated, that began as an experimental, artistic television-wave channel where surreal ideas and concepts could be manifested independently. This initially yielded two very full, very ambitious episodes packed with retro-futuristic comedy & music that feature a lot of extraordinary talent. This concept evolved over the last six years, producing a unique variety of unique variety.

Network 77 Promos

TAMAR is the internationally celebrated Israeli born singer, actress and chanteuse. Known as the Belle of EL AL, Tamar is the winner of two Giorgio awards for Best Spoken Word Disco Performance By A Non-Belarusian Female Solo. You’ve also seen her many television appearances on such programmes such as PLASTIC FANTASTIC, Chi Sono, Musikpop & Dig a Dang, and her most recent cabaret appearances at Pangea in NYC. Tamar is the conceptual alchemy of noted performance provocateuse Tammy Faye Starlite and Rachel Lichtman, who have fused their respective comedic and surrealistic wiles to create a unique & visionary feminine journey with an incandescent authenticity, frozen in the amber of time.

The Haden Triplets Show with special guest Nick Offerman, a high concept video that is more of a unseen pilot.

MUSIQUE was another conceptual music show, an exquisite collection of promo films, interviews, commercial spots and performance. MUSIQUE attempted to create an artistic context that would honor and elevate the work of the artists it featured.

TED LEO PRESENTS was an exceptional live variety/music show filmed at the Columbus Theater, featuring very special guests and very creative workarounds during lockdown months. This was a brilliant, entertaining music series that leveled-up what was aesthetically possible, despite the challenges. The sizzle shown here gives some indication, but an edit for rebroadcast will likely be available soon to this station.

STARPOP began as a Euro-style music show, featuring videos and performances, where artists introduced other artists. This concept has developed and evolved over time, but the “episodes” below stand on their own.
